Attard (Malta) - "Eurosport Attard 5K". This is the first race of the season organised by the Malta Marathon. Has a rather flat and fast route. Finishers all get a large, thick and heavy medal. Siggiewi (Malta) - "Eurosport LRC 10K". This is the second race of the season organised by the Malta Marathon. The start and finish are located besides San Niklaw's chapel which is within the former RAF Krendi airfield complex. All of the route passes through the countryside, amongst fields and also through the former runway. Route is a considerably fast route. Finishers all get a large, thick and double sided heavy metal medal. Besides the usual awards for the first 3 male and female finishers, there are also team awards and age category awards. This race is organised on behalf of the Ladies Running Club by the Malta Marathon organisers. The race is also open to men. The race starts at 0700. Zurrieq (Malta) - "Zurrieq Half Marathon & 10K". The start and finish of both the Half Marathon and 10k are both in front of the Zurrieq's Parish Church. Both races pass mainly through countryside and on the outskirts of several villages. The Zurrieq Half Marathon & 10K is one of the most popular races and is the only Half Marathon held in the south of Malta. Participants get access to free personalised photos and receive a large double sided metal medal.The half Marathon start at 0700 and the 10K starts at 0745. www.maltamarathon.com

Birkirkara (Malta) - "HopeXchange 5K & 10K". The HopeXchange 5K & 10K is a charity event with all profits going to HopeXchange. The start and finish are both in front of Eurosport sports outlet, which is the sponsor of this race. The 5K is a loop within a mainly urban area with the 10K doing the same loop twice. The 10K starts at 0700 and the 5K starting at 0725. Participants have access to free personalised photos and finishers receive a large double sided metal medal. www.maltamarathon.com

Mdina (Malta) - "Mdina 2 Spinola". The M2S is the oldest race in Malta, with records since 1979. The traditional route was kept until 2020 but has now been changed due to road restructuring. The M2S is traditionally held on the last Sunday before Xmas Day. The M2S does not have a standard distance, the original route was 10.7 miles (17.1km) and now it is 11.64 miles (18.63km). The route starts from outside Mdina, Malta former medieval Capital City which stands 190m above sea level. It mainly passes through urban areas and passes adjacent to the creeks of the Malta Grand Harbour which are studded with yachts and by the Mediterranean sea to finish in Spinola which is at sea level. This is an extremely fast route. The M2S is extremely popular with over 1,200 participants. Attard (Malta) - "Attard 10k". This is the last event of the athletic season organised by the Malta Marathon Organising Committee before the Malta Marathon and Malta Half Marathon which are held in February. Mdina (Malta) - "Malta Marathon". The Malta Marathon has been held since 1986 with the Malta Half Marathon added in 1987. A 5K was added since 2025. The route of both the Marathon and Half Marathon start from outside the walls Mdina, Malta's former fortified capital city. Mdina is 190m above sea level, both races end in Sliema's popular town which is at sea level. This makes both courses relatively fast, especially the Half Marathon. The routes pass through countryside and urban areas and have the last 4km passing alongside the Grand Harbour's creeks which are studded with hundreds of yachts. The 5K starts and finishes in Sliema. Participants get access to free personalised photos and one of the largest and heaviest medals given at any other race. www.maltamarathon.com
