Welches, Oregon (United States of America) - "Huckleberry Run Festival". Half Marathon Route: At your own pace, you'll delight in sights such as a golf course, the Cascade Range, the Salmon River, bridges and natural wildlife where you might see deer! The Half Marathon route is the same as the 10k except it has an additional six-seven miles of running in the National Forest and crossing the Salmon River twice. This course is considered somewhat challenging with mixed rolling hills. 10K Route: At just the right speed, you'll go south on Salmon River Road and then take Fairway Avenue while breathing in the exhilarating Cascade Range. Continuing south on Welches Road, you'll enjoy the scenery of moss-filled trees and woodsy homes. Finally, you'll come to Salmon River Road to circle back to the start. 5K Route: This race will take you along some of the beautiful fairways and into the gorgeous neighborhoods of the The Resort at the Mtn. This is an out & back and provides some breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. www.huckleberryrunfestival.com

Valparaiso, Indiana (United States of America) - "Oakadoke Trail Runs". This summer-time race features the entirety of what Creekside Trails has to offer: scenic tree-covered single-track, winding switchbacks, surprisingly cool views of farmland, multiple bridge crossings over a babbling creek (hence “Creekside”), and a post-race party just as memorable as the race itself. The 9-mile course is one full loop through the trails. Two laps of this loop complete the 18-mile race, and the 4-mile race splits the main loop roughly in half, sending you straight out to the Salt Creek section. This is a challenging course. There are many ups and downs, twists and turns, and uneven surfaces. It’s a Midwest trail (no mountains), but it’s certainly not flat. The course is also incredibly fun, scenic, and never gets boring. Come join us for a wild ride as we continue this summer-time trail running tradition! Race information: start times are Saturday, August 2nd, 2025—8:00 AM for the 18-mile start, 9:00 AM for the 9-mile start, and 9:30 AM for the 4-mile start. Cut-off times are 10:45 AM to leave the halfway point (18-mile race only) and 1:30 PM as the overall cut-off at the finish line. The start/finish line location is Twin Creeks Farm, 2251 Clifford Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46385. See the event website for more detailed race information. www.trailblazerrunning.co/oakadoke-trail-runs
