Jupiter, Florida (United States of America) - "Heroes On The Water 5K". We are in our 6th year of the Heroes On The Water 5K! Thank you to all our past runners for your support! We are excited to announce that the 6th Annual Heroes On The Water 5K will be held on April 6th, 2025, at Riverbend Park. This beautiful course takes you through the scenic Riverbend Park on a flat hardpacked surface, perfect for running! All participants will receive a performance race shirt, finisher medal, swag bag, post-race food, and more. Chip timing will be provided by Southern Timing, LLC. Proceeds from this race will benefit the Treasure Coast Heroes On The Water Chapter. This race is hosted by the Southern Timing Foundation, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) organization. Heroes on the Water, a 501(c)(3) veterans' charity, creates alternative therapeutic programs to serve veterans, active-duty military personnel, first responders, and their families. These experiential programs incorporate structured activities proven to improve their lives, reduce the impact of post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury, and provide much-needed camaraderie and support. There will be light snacks and various drinks available before and after the race, and one water station on the course that you'll pass twice. Event medics and a course marshal will be on-site to ensure safety. Children 17 and under will receive a $10 discount automatically applied during registration, and first responders, active-duty, and retired military members can register for a $15 discount when selecting their branch of service. This race will be RFID chip timed by Southern Timing, LLC, with live results and preliminary result kiosks. A start and finish line video will capture a 20-second clip of you crossing the finish line for sharing or downloading. All participants will receive a short-sleeve performance shirt, or the option to upgrade to a long-sleeve shirt for an additional $10 during registration. Participants will also receive a custom finisher medal and a swag bag with free goodies from our generous sponsors. Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers, as well as the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group: 10 & Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over.
