Middletown, Connecticut (United States of America) - "Middletown 10K and 5K Run/Walk". Both races loop around campus, while the 5K finishes, the 10K takes another loop before a fast downhill finish on Old Church Street. All finishers receive a high-quality short sleeve technical shirt and enjoy a post-race party on Union Green, adjacent to the finish line, with fresh hot pizza from Mondo and beer (21+ with ID) courtesy of Eli Cannon's Tap Room. NEW IN 2025: Motivate the running season with a three-race goal in the Spring 10K Challenge. Start off in Middletown in April, then join the Burlington to Collinsville 10K in May and end with the UConn Health 10K in June to earn an extra commemorative medal for the extra efforts. East Lyme, Connecticut (United States of America) - "Rocky Neck Runfest". Explore the natural beauty on well-marked roads and trails, including the Bride Brook salt marsh, the historic stone Ellie Mitchell Pavilion and the Four Mile River tidal area. Ideally set up in a central location with high-energy atmosphere for relay exchanges, participants and spectators can gather, cheer, refuel and easily access the nearby finish line. The post-race party is one not to be missed with music, hot bRUNch from Flanders Fish Market and incredible camaraderie. Choose an adventure: Rocky Neck Relay: Each member of the 3-person team takes on one road 5K and one trail 5K with a break in between rotations. A centrally located exchange zone lets team members relax, refuel and cheer others when not in their run rotation. All teams cross the finish line together at the beach. Rocky Neck 30K: Solo adventure with 5K rotations of road and trail courses for a total of six legs, approximately 18.6 miles. The early spring adventure will test endurance with a beautiful, challenging trail venue complimented with the road course in and around the campground area. Rocky Neck 5K, trail OR road: Both offer picturesque views of Rocky Neck State Park and a stunning finish overlooking beautiful Long Island Sound. The trail 5K is part of the USATF-CT Mountain, Ultra and Trail (MUT) race series. Mystic, Connecticut (United States of America) - "Mystic Half Marathon and 10K". This special shoreline destination invites participants to an enjoyable stretch of course otherwise hard to access. Starting in front of Olde Mistick Village, the race follows along the water past tall ships and sailboats of Mystic Seaport, over the unique and historic Mystic River drawbridge, and through the charming downtown. Runners then enjoy a quieter stretch along River Road before the 10K turns off to finish in front of Mystic Aquarium. The 13.1-mile journey continues along quintessential New England stonewalls and rolling hills, passing views of the Mystic Reservoir and tranquil nature preserves before the finish. All participants receive a short-sleeve technical shirt and a custom-designed finisher medal in this year's much-anticipated signature race theme. After the finish, enjoy a stroll through picturesque Mystic and take advantage of some great discounts! The 2025 Shoreline Challenge offers a twist on the popular race series, exploring three beautiful race courses in participants' distance of choice.
