Ashburn, Virginia (United States of America) - "The Cloud Run". The 4th Annual Cloud Run returns on Saturday, May 30, 2026, bringing the data center community and local residents together in Ashburn, Virginia, the heart of Data Center Alley. Hosted by the 7x24 Exchange DC Chapter, this unique event celebrates the people, technology, and infrastructure that power our digital world while creating meaningful connections across the region. The Cloud Run is more than just a race. It is an opportunity to bring together data center professionals, students, jobseekers, families, and community members for a shared experience that highlights the impact of an industry many people rely on every day, often without realizing it. Every email sent, video streamed, and file stored online lives in a physical location inside a data center. These facilities operate around the clock, supporting global demand with an extraordinary commitment to reliability. While the event takes place in late spring, it also serves as a celebration of In ternational Data Center Day, observed each March to recognize the critical role data centers play in modern life. The Cloud Run extends that recognition into the community, offering a fun and engaging way to learn more about the industry while building relationships beyond the data hall. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome. The event features a 5K race, a kids 5K for participants age 14 and under, and a 1-mile fun run, making it accessible whether you are a seasoned runner or simply looking for a way to get active with colleagues, friends, or family. Whether you choose to run or walk, the focus is on participation, connection, and community. The 7x24 Exchange DC Chapter, made up of the professionals who design, build, operate, and maintain data centers, is proud to host this annual tradition. The Cloud Run reflects the chapter's commitment not only to advancing the industry but also to giving back and strengthening the communities where its members live and work. As the event continues to grow, it has become a staple for the region's data center community and a welcoming entry point for those interested in learning more about the field. It is a place where conversations begin, partnerships form, and a shared appreciation for the industry takes shape. Mark your calendar, gather your coworkers, and lace up your running shoes. Join us on May 30 for the 4th Annual Cloud Run and be part of an event that brings people together to celebrate innovation, community, and the infrastructure that keeps our world connected. https://go.evvnt.com/3554244-0?pid=6562
