Duarte, California (United States of America) - "No One Walks Alone". A walkathon to create community and raise awareness. For those that are fighting cancer, know of someone who has fought or lost someone near and dear to cancer, put on your tennis shoes and join us as we walk together in unity to bring awareness to cancer and raise money to help top-notch research centers find a cure. On Saturday, May 23 from 10am-12 noon, meet us at the beginning of the beautiful Duarte walking trail. The entrance is located on the corner of Buena Vista and Royal Oaks Drive in the city of Duarte. You will be warmly greeted at our welcome booth, where you can grab a rock and paint it in honor of your loved one. Our welcome booth will be well stocked with hot coffee, donuts, hot cocoa, and water bottles. You can stay, paint, and chat or start the easy walk. It is a light walk with no difficult elevation areas. We would love to see you as we walk in unity to find a cure for cancer. And for those that don’t know me, here is a little info about me, the organizer. My name is Kristen and I have terminal brain cancer. Currently there is no cure. In my remaining time here I wish to help find a cure, and would be honored if you all came to support finding cures for cancer. https://go.evvnt.com/3440240-0?pid=6562
