Houston, Texas (United States of America) - "National Coffee Day: Run for Coffee Houston". For all the coffee lovers, this run is for you! You’ll love the shirt we send you, so set a goal, bring a friend, and join this super fun 5K, 10K, or 13.1 half-marathon. The run will sell out quickly and waves will close off the moment they fill up; if they are sold out, you can sign up for the virtual run option or the wait list. This is a smaller, private group run with a cap per wave. All paces and ages are welcome (under 18 with a guardian), and you can run or walk. There’s no equipment or setup; this is a pure run with coordinators to support you in a warm, stress-free setting. When you sign up, you receive the support you need to achieve your goals and fitness, and you’re invited to be part of local run clubs that support your fitness journey. Timing is optional: you may track your time on an app like Strava, RunKeeper, or Nike Run and submit it online, or you can ask coordinators to help track your time. There are no timing chips as this is a stress-free run to support you. Participants receive a swag bag including a running T-shirt (shipped to your registered US address), a finisher’s towel or giveaway, a finisher’s medal, a digital training pack, online results and a certificate of completion, and an invitation to join one of the local running clubs. Technical running shirts are also available for an additional $5. There’s no packet pickup required as swag is shipped directly to your address, and race bibs are provided on race day. You will receive your shirt the week of your race. A final race update with details and course maps will be emailed the Wednesday before the race. Last-minute registrations are accepted, but shirts may arrive after the run, so you can wear any shirt you find appropriate. Wave times are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis with options at 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, and 8:30 AM, and late runners can run upon arrival as coordinators stay three hours after the first wave. A virtual run option is available, offering a training pack with digital tools, and can be done anytime, anywhere. After finishing, you can submit results to receive your medal. Discounts are available when signing up for multiple races through the race bundle. Sponsorship opportunities are offered to promote businesses, and volunteers can join Team Glo to help organize runs for the community. The Best Races also supports charity initiatives through thebestracesjourney.com, where every mile logged after the race leads to a $1 donation to partnered charities, with fundraising optional. https://runsignup.com/Race/TX/Houston/NationalCoffeeDayRunForCoffeeHOUSTON?aflt_token=Nktw0AUB3nF4FPeh7Y7AWqQewFdw9sGt
