Granville, Ohio (United States of America) - "Timbuk Winter Run Challenge". The 2026 Timbuk Winter Run Challenge will be returning to Timbuk Farms in Granville, Ohio. All races start and finish at the Timbuk Farms Garden Center with a looped course on challenging local roads (some paved and some gravel) and through the beautiful Christmas tree farm. Participants should expect to be challenged by some hills throughout the course and chilly Ohio winter weather. Warm up afterward with your fellow participants in the greenhouse with a cup of soup and hot chocolate. There are three distances to choose from: * 22 kilometers (two full loops) - 13.67 miles * 11 kilometers (one full loop) - 6.83 miles * 5K - 3.11 miles RACE START TIMES: The START of the 22K and 11K distances will be together at 1:00 PM. Mdina (Malta) - "Malta Marathon". The Malta Marathon has been held since 1986 with the Malta Half Marathon added in 1987. A 5K was added since 2025. The route of both the Marathon and Half Marathon start from outside the walls of Mdina, Malta's former fortified capital city. Mdina is 190m above sea level, both races end in Sliema's popular town which is at sea level. This makes both courses relatively fast, especially the Half Marathon. The routes pass through countryside and urban areas and have the last 4km passing alongside the Grand Harbour's creeks which are studded with hundreds of yachts. The 5K starts and finishes in Sliema. Participants get access to free personalised photos and one of the largest and heaviest medals given at any other race. www.maltamarathon.com
